How Martha Was I This Weekend?

The majority of the weekend was focused on a baby shower that I co-hosted with a coworker at my apartment. The baby shower went well so that is all that mattered. Sunday was spent relaxing in the morning and then doing work around the apartment, like move furniture around to switch our bedroom with our office.

Friday night

made blue paper-chain decorations and hung them up (with help )

started cleaning apartment- moving furniture and plants, sweeping, dusting, etc

unload, reload dishwasher

prep cupcakes… gotta love mis en place

Saturday

drove into work and picked up the gifts that people left because they could not make it to the party

stop at iparty for blue balloons and papergoods

go to food store for snacks and drinks

made 36 vanilla bean cupcakes (using homemade vanilla sugar) and chocolate frosting

Post shower clean up and relaxation

Sunday

slept in to 9.30… woohoo!!!

Did some work on baby shower mini scrapbook

Started the process of switching the bedroom with the office.

Watched American Music Awards and started a new crocheting project during the show
