Scrapbooking and Stamping

Scrapbooking and rubber stamping have been a passion of mine for years. I have always been creative in one form or another and I have found my place with these crafts. In high school I worked at a stamp store which really sparked my interest in card making. My interests started to shift towards scrapbooking and I have been doing that since, occasional card making is thrown in there too! Now looking back at my first scrapbooks I laugh really hard. What was I thinking? Why did I think it was okay to cut all my pictures with decorative scissors? Why did I use such bright colors? Oh, so horrible!!!

Well, since then I have giving my photos and decorative scissors much-needed separation. I have become more careful about color combination, selecting embellishments, and coordinating patterned paper. Not all of my pages are knock out successes but I’m still learning and I love to learn what works for me and what doesn’t. I’m constantly looking for new ways of getting inspired and how to translate that inspiration into fun scrapbooking pages.

I love to do scrapbooking because i love to collect pictures and put it in a small collection. Scrapbooking also sort of helps me to make a small diary. ;.`'”
