So I have a pretty decent bruise on my right foot. I have no idea how I got it. No, my foot is not dirty. I actually noticed it while in vigoriously scrubbing it in the shower (7/22)- alas bruises don’t scrub away. I have not worn any shoes that would have done this. And I am pretty sure I would remember hitting my foot hard enough to make this bruise. Plus it seems to be spreading since this photo. I’m gonna die.
So while food shopping this past Saturday I was in our many ‘International Food’ isles and saw PEANUT DRINK. This is a Jamaican drink that lists peanut butter as an ingredient… I had to get it!! It is not diet or taste bud friendly. While there was no false advertising, it did taste peanut buttery, it was not good. For one thing, it tasted way too much of peanut butter. It was thicker than milk but thinner than a shake. Had we added this to a banana and blending it we might have been able to stomach it but after two sips Price and I took a pass on finishing or getting it again. An enlightening $1.99.
The drink and Price about to taste it :-/
Emily, her friend Melanie, and I went over to Cambridge for a night out. After roaming around for a bit we settled on Downstairs at The Middle East. We saw the worst band ever. So bad it was funny. Of the guys made funny faces while playing- but not like John Mayer’s funny faces… oh no, much worse. His whole body would get into it and cease up. I was overwhlemed from the faces and the white guy yelling, no really yelling, about white girls. Vanilla Ice lives on.
I had some serious height to my hair. I wish I had a better photo of it. I’ll have to recreate it one day to show my hipster version of juniper creek hair. The best was that after I got home at 3am I went right to bed and it stayed exactly like that so that you never would have known I slept on it for 5 hours. Ah I love hairspray.
