So this past Saturday was Love your Pet Day. To show the rabbits some love I gave them a GIANT carrot. Price and I took Stephanie (cousin) to Super 88, an Asian food cafeteria and market, for lunch because she was sticking around to keep me company for the ride down to CT. (They were in town for Friday and Saturday morning to see the Harry Potter Exhibit and Boston). So we took her to eat there because it was 1) close 2) cheap 3) good food. Plus you can always find some interesting things at the market, such as “Every Burger”. What’s “Every Burger” you ask? Well it is teeny tiny bourbon flavored chocolate cookie/biscuit that is assembled to look like a cheeseburger. I suggest you skip it.
Beside the candy we got at Super 88 we got the rabbits a GIANT carrot. I previously wrote about this freak of a carrot. I was horrified the first time I saw it but I figured it can’t really be that bad so it would be funny to get it for the rabbits. The 1 carrot weighed in at .86 pound. So we got home and I washed and peeled the carrot (removing some of is mass) and gave it to the rabbits.
I think Bunny was afraid of it at first or was just annoyed that I was sitting by it trying to snap pictures of them.
The best part was that Jack tried to pick it up and drag it away just for him, like he does with most of his food. He failed.
I think it will take them like 4 days to eat it all.
