When I say I know nothing about hockey I really mean it. For example…
Me:- “How am I going to see the puck? It won’t be lit up like on TV.” (really I said that)
Price-“Clearly you have not seen hockey in like 10 years…”
Poor Pricer. He was right I had not seen hockey in a loooong time. I was refering to the televised games I saw that had a bluish glow around the puck, called FoxTrax. This ended in 1998. yikes.
Price and I were able to go to the Bruins game against the Buffalo Sabres this past Thursday night because his sister’s boyfriend could not make it to the game that he had tickets to. So Ed was really kind and gave us the tickets. (Thanks Ed!) The tickets even included free concessions so we had dinner there too. super sweet.
The reason I can’t watch Rocky movies or any movies with fight scenes is because I instantly cry and get queasy when people are getting punched in the face. Well let me tell you that seeing it in person causes the same reaction so at any point when one of the guys from the Bruins and Sabres fought each other I ducked behind Price.
The Sabres won the game 3-4. I didn’t care who won I was just excited that it was fun and the game was close, resulting in OT. The most exciting thing about going is knowing that I get to scrapbook it. I’m now on the look out for some yellow embellishments in my stash.
