I heard about Sky Zone on a blog (sorry I don’t remember which one!) and knew that Price and I would have to go. We went a bit ago and had a wonderful time, so we knew we would need to go again and to bring some friends along. We made an outing of it last Saturday night.
For those who don’t know, Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline park. One of their locations is located on the edge of Boston, in Hyde Park. The warehouse has 2 trampoline ‘fields’, one for free jump, and the other for dodge ball. Each of these are made of with connected trampolines, that allow you to jump and run from one to another. The sides are even angled trampolines that you can bounce off of as well.
Price, Emily, Peter, Essa, and myself met down there for Sky Jam. We jumped around, did flips (well Peter did), the guys played dodge ball, and jumped around some more for an hour and a half. It’s a blast! It’s physically engergizing and draining. You feel like a little kid jumping around. You test yourself to see what you can do. Can I jump higher this time?!?!
It is GD hard to take photos with a simple point and shoot when everyone is moving. We took dozens and dozens of photos and these were the best. Lame. Since I have a sense of humor about myself I’ll share the photo that had Price bent over cracking up. Oh just hilarious…
If you go to SkyJam, or even the general open jump, I really suggest that you buy your tickets online ahead of time. It ALWAYS sells out.
Price and I are going to organize another group to go in the next month or so. Hopefully I can borrow a better camera so I don’t look so spaz-tic 🙂
