Monster Munch Chex Party Mix

My friends know that when I go to their parties they better have a good party mix for me. I purposefully never eat dinner for it and skip whatever lovely spread they put out and just eat the party mix. I’m a sucker for it- sweet or salty. It’s irresistible. If it has chocolate, you better make a double batch because I’m not sharing that bowl.

I created a fun Halloween one that I know you all will love! This Monster Munch Chex Party Mix is to die for!

Now, I know you are looking at it and you’re like “But Nicole, there is candy corn in here…. I hate candy corn.” Now hear me out. I too hate candy corn, but I put it in here thinking “well, at least my family will enjoy this” as my husband and daughter like candy corn. But turns out, I loved it too. Perhaps it’s the variety of cereals and the vanilla chocolate, but I could have easily eaten the whole thing. Thank goodness for kids and neighbors.

Besides the candy corn and creme pumpkins, the sprinkles add a fun touch to the Monster Munch Chex Party Mix. I used Wilton‘s ‘Pumpkin Mix’ Sprinkles. I thought the green, black, and purple sprinkles would be so pretty. And a nice contrast to the orange and yellows from the candy corn and pumpkins.

What kind of Chex do you use?

This party mix uses 3 kinds of Chex cereal- rice, corn, and wheat.

Is this gluten free?

No, this is not gluten free. If you need this to be gluten free, then omit the Wheat Chex Mix. Then you will will need to increase the amount of the rice and corn Chex by 1 Cup each.

How long will this last?

I mean, if you don’t eat it all instantly, it will last 2 weeks stored in an airtight container.
