While Disney doesn’t provide information on the number of tickets sold during the event, the crowds are much less than during the day, or on a typical night. So don’t worry that you don’t have Fast Passes for the rides, the limited attendees make weight times a breeze for most rides.
The event is just 6 hours long (7-1am), so it’s best to go in with a bit of a strategy so you can enjoy it all!
Have Fun at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!!!
The party officially starts at 7pm, but you can gain access into the park as early as 4pm. Once you check in, you are provided with a wrist band identifying you as a MNSSP attendee. Wear this proudly as the cast members will start to clear out those not wearing it in the Magic Kingdom.
Take the time before the party starts to grab a meal, snack, and take pictures of the Halloween decor in Main Street USA. Plus, you can take this opportunity to get in line for some popular Charcter Experiences (Meet and Greets).

Making the Most of of Attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Depending on your approach you can schedule out your night so that you are trick or treating and riding the rides first, and then enjoying the shows. Or enjoy the shows first, and then end the night with fun rides and candy! There is no wrong approach, it just depends on what you enjoy.
You can probably hustle to see and do it all, but I think that picking your favorites is the best approach. This depends on what your interests are and what you want to see.
Have young kids? Then check out the see the shows earlier on. The new Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam sounds like so much fun for them.
Are you a night owl and can stay until the end? Then see the last Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at 12.00am. Enjoy getting to sleep in the next day.
Maybe you don’t care about seeing fireworks and you just want to focus on Character Meet and Greets? That’s just as cool too!
Here are 2 examples of possible schedules that you could do during MNSSHP.

MNSSHP Schedule Option 1
4.00pm: Park Entry
4.00- 7.00pm: Check out decor, go on some rides, get in line for a Character Meet and Greet (Moana in Adventureland)
7.00pm: MNSSHP Officially begins
7.00- 8.30pm – Trick or Treating and Rides, head over to the castle for the spelltacular
8.30 – 8.50pm – Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
9.15 – 9.30pm – Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade
10.15 – 10.30pm – Happy HalloWishes Fireworks
10.30pm – end: Enjoy more trick or treating and rides. Or head back to your hotel.
Why this works? The Fireworks, Spelltacular Show and Parade are all in close proximity to each other. Find a spot on Main Street near the castle for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Keep your spot, or find another, and stick around for the parade. If you are willing to run back and forth a bit, head over to the start of the parade in Frontierland. Once it passes you, then go on a few more rides in Frontierland or Adventureland. Hustle back towards the castle, and watch the Happy Hallowishes Fireworks. Cross over to the other side of the park to enjoy the rest of the night in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
MNSSHP Schedule Option 2
4.00pm: Park Entry
4.00- 7.00pm: Check out decor, go on some rides, get in line for a Character Meet and Greet
7.00pm: MNSSHP Officially begins
7.00 – 10pm: Trick or Treating and Rides, head over to the castle for the fireworks
10.15 – 10.30pm: Happy HalloWishes Fireworks
10.45 – 11.05pm: Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
11.15- 11.30pm – Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade
11.30pm – end: Enjoy more trick or treating and rides. Or head back to your hotel.
Why this works? The Fireworks, Spelltacular Show and Parade are all in close proximity to each other. Find a spot on Main Street near the castle for the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks. Then, once the fireworks are over, hustle up closer to the stage for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. End your night with parade, which starts in Frontierland, passes the castle, and goes down Main Street USA. Depending on where you are along the route, it will end closer to 11.30pm for you, or take until 11.30 to get to you. If you are planning on leaving immediately after the parade, I suggest staying close to the castle/Main Street, so that you can walk out with the parade once it is over. Otherwise, move closer to the starting point so that you can continue to enjoy the rest of the night.
