I’ve been sitting on these babies for far too long. There has just never been enough time in the day to go through all the amazing photos we got from our photographer to share some on the blog. But I held my feet to the fire and did it last night.
I’ve gone through them over and over and I love them so freaking much. We’ve already ordered prints that are hanging up in our living room and our bedroom. Two pictures even became our Save the Date’s and our upcoming Christmas cards.
I was struggling to find a wedding photographer who’s style we liked, and who we could actually afford. I was getting some interesting quotes for photographers in the Berkshires, where our wedding is being held next June. Their base quotes hurt my head. So some Facebook laminating and *pow* I was reminded that a fellow college classmate and coworker (from the job from hell) had become a wedding photographer. It all perfectly fell into place.
We loved Danielle’s portfolio as her style was something that we really enjoyed. And it became a real plus to have her do the engagement and wedding photos as there would be a consistent look between them all. Plus, as much as I had known her for years, it would be nice to have a nice familiarity with working with her twice so we could be really relaxed for the wedding photos.
In late September, we headed down to Lincoln Woods State Park in Rhode Island, just over an hour away. We wanted a place that Danielle was familiar with so that we could have photos taken in a great setting. Plus, we just like checking out new places. (We also ended up having dinner at The Fire: Brick Oven Pizza and Bar in North Providence- so good, highly recommended.)
As we had little miss Autumn with us, we took some pictures with her. She loved all the picture taking! She is such a ham!!
And my favorite of the day!
We are so thankful for the amazing work that Danielle did. And we are looking forward to her and her assistant working their magic again nexxt June at our wedding.
