We always have so much fun at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! This time, the best part was doing the Monster Mash with Vampirina! My Little Vampirina LOVED IT!!!
During our Recent Trip to Disney World for an incredible Florida Blogger Experience, we had a wonderful night at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! We started with a fun, group dinner at the Grand Floridan, before we took the (super crowded) monorail over to the Magic Kingdom for a fun, spooky night at the party.
I love visiting Disney during the holidays. They do such a wonderful time decorating. Main Street USA looks so fun and festive for the season (August – Halloween). So many Disney themed pumpkins, scarecrows, and fall decor. Florida may be hot, but it puts me in a Fall State of Mind.
While at dinner, the kids received super fun glowing pumpkins that they could use for trick or treating while at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! They also received fun glowing necklaces for the party too. Special things like that help everyone get in the mood to have an extra fun time at MNSSHP. All that extra Pixie Dust makes the experience that much more special.
Also, how cute are these sweet treats?!? Pumpkin cake pop and a monster brownie. YUM!
When dinner was over, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom, via the Monorail. Oh boy! It was crowded! Price had to catch a different one than me and the kids, but they run so often that we just needed to wait a few minutes for him, with the stroller.
Once we all we arrived to the Magic Kingdom, we got our wristbands for the party!! The night started off with the kids did some trick or treating. The closest stop is to the entrances is the Town Square Theater. Gotta get the candy fix!
Then we headed over to take our mandatory blurry family selfie pic in front of the castle.
Seriously, this was the only family pic we took. So lame!!! Autumn wanted to be Vampirina, so we based our family costume around that. I was Vampirina’s mom, Oxana, Price was her dad, Boris, and Hunter rounded it our as Demi, the ghost. Unfortunately, wed didn’t get a good pic of us all done up. Oh, well, that’s the way we it goes. ha!
MY “OMG, I’M AT DISNEY FACE!!!!!!”
The highlight of our MNSSHP was the Disney Jr Jam.
Besides doing a few rides, we spend the majority of the time here. Autumn just loved getting to dance and jump around to the music that the Dj was playing. It was a good variety of music that kids and parents could enjoy, so that made hanging out there fun. Besides that, the best part was that she got to dance with Doc McStuffins and Vampirina. Her favorites!!! She went trick or treating 2 years ago as Doc and this year would be Vampirina. Dream come true!!!!
And my highlight of the the night… DOLE WHIP FLOAT!!!
During previous trips, we never stopped for autographs and character meets. Mainly because we wanted to focus on rides and Autumn wasn’t too into meeting characters (sometimes they are scary for her), but with a new autograph book, she was excited to meet Disney characters to take pictures with them and get some autographs.
We finished out our night with meeting Aladdin and Abu the the 1992 classic, Aladdin. When we first got in line, Jasmine and The Genie were the characters who were out for pictures, but they changed while we were line I was afraid that Autumn would freak a bit for not getting to meet Jasmine, but she was just glad that the giant Genie was gone. ha!
Meeting them was a great way to end the night.
Because we had spent the HOT day already having a blast at Hollywood Studios visiting Toy Story Land, we kept this visit rather short.
We wandered back out through the park and hopped on a bus back to our room at the Art of Animation.
