I’ll do a weekly bump update so I can look back and see how things progress and what was happening at various points along the way.
This past week has been crap. Not because of being pregnant or anything related to that. Well, maybe it made my lows really god damn low but it was just a crappy.
Tuesday- couldn’t take lunch at normal time to get the dog out bc of the meeting conflict, which then ran long so I was panicy and feeling bad so I cabbed it home… in rush hour… in the rain. There goes $35! Then I was driving back into the city later to help my friend pack up a few fragile things in her place and I hit a car because I thought I could squeeze through the intersection as he was turning right onto another street. But nope! So minor, nothing to our car but gave his car two 2″ scratches on the left rear quarter panel. Can’t wait to pay for that!!!! {opens wallet, dumps contents on ground, lights on fire}
Wednesday- my mood from Tuesday carried over and spent the day just on and off crying & trying not to kill the intern helping on the project. She’s really nice and talented but I hated everyone on Wednesday and she was basically the closest person to me.
Thursday- in NYC for my last visit for a project. Sad that I won’t be back in NYC for a long, long time but glad that this project is over… another thing crossed off the list. Plus the client was in a grumpy mood so everything I said was misinterpreted like he thought I thought he was dumb (which he isn’t!), but, umm, it’s just my job to point things that the inspector would fail you for.
Saturday- we helped my best friend move out of her place since she and her boyfriend are moving to Seattle. Seriously… to fucking far. So saying good-bye was horrible with sweaty hugs and me crying into her hair. Then I cried the whole way home. Good times.
So I am sooo ready for a new week to start and for it to be better than this past week.
22 Week Bump Update
Current Due Date: 12/1/13
Weight Gain: forgot to look at last appointment, I guess I’m just not really caring at this point since things still fit fine- mostly still in regular clothes- and they haven’t said anything yet.
Stretch Marks: nope
Belly Button: same, no change
Clothing: still in regular pants with the hair tie trick to add some extra room, more maternity tops but still in most of my regular stuffs (like dress above)
Cravings/Aversions: I can’t get donuts or Hash House a Go Go out of my head. The closest Hash House is at Mohegan Sun so I feel it’s justified to drive an hour and a half, each way, for the most amazing looking food. We’ll see what ever comes of that idea. At least donuts are more obtainable. I really want to get some from Union Square Donuts– voted Best of Boston ’13 by The Improper Bostonian.
Sleep: never enough. Had a real busy week so sleep was lacking. Getting used to sleeping with a body pillow now.
Mood: crappy, see above.
Movement: have been feeling more and more movement, it’s sporadic but noticeable
Milestones: 17 more weeks to go!!! Super excited about that. Also, AHHH!!
What I miss: not getting up in the middle of the night to pee
What I am looking forward to: actually going to yoga class this Wednesday night
