Blood-Red Wine Punch is the perfect wine punch for Halloween parties or girls night. It’s light, fruity, and the prettiest ruby color. Cheers!
I have been waiting for this Thursday for a long time. And it’s finally here!!!!! Woohoo!!!
Today is finally the day of the IIDA Fashion Show Benefit and Gala. It’s been a lot of work to get to here including month of planning, developing our design based upon the show theme, designing and then creating our 4 costumes.
It was so much fun last year (we also won an award!) so I could not wait for today to finally get here.
Plus, I couldn’t wait to share this fun Halloween themed punch.
I saw this blood-red punch in Rachael Ray Magazine and knew that I would love it and that it would make for a great punch to serve for a Halloween party.
While we prepare our costumes we have tons of fun drinking and eating with each other. Typically it’s pizza and snacks, but the best part is the wine! It might be a bad idea to combine wine with hot glue guns (ouch!) but in reality, I burn myself sober every time using it. So, a glass of wine… eh, no big deal.
This wine punch is perfect for parties or for sewing (and hot gluing) intricate costumes. It’s refreshing and makes plenty of punch in one batch. But you might want to keep enough ingredients on hand for more since I have a feeling this will disappear quickly!
- 6 Cups cranberry juice
- 4 Cups fruity red wine, such as shiraz or beaujolais
- 2 Cups orange juice
- Orange Slices and fresh cranberries for garnish
- Combine the cranberry juice, wine, and orange juice. Garnish the punch with orange slices and fresh cranberries.
- Serve over ice and garnish.
