When I first saw the commercial for the new flavors from Lay’s I laughed my butt off. Oh Eva Longoria. sigh. And then I got over it and decided we must try all of them. Obvi.
So I grabbed a small bag of each flavor the next time I went to the grocery store and we dived into sampling.
Chicken and Waffles:
These chips tasted just like a waffle with syrup and the herby flavor of breaded chicken. If you didn’t know this was a chicken and waffles chip before trying you could easily guess the flavor. It was a subtle flavor and did not have a lot of seasoning to transfer to your hands.
Sriracha:
These were the brightest color of the 3 varieties. It was a redish hue, assuming from the sriracha flavoring, with flecks of chili and pepper. The srirach flavor was there but it could have just been confused with a hot sauce. It was not very spicy, but did have a kick.
Cheesy Garlic Bread:
The strongest flavors were that of garlic and cheese. These were a light orange/yellow color, most likely from the cheese flavor. They smelled exactly like how they tasted.

My favorite: Sriracha
Price’s favorite: Chicken and Waffles
I may have already posted this, but when I lived in Bali, I got hooked on the Seaweed flavor. The other flavor that I did NOT like was Salmon. Haven’t tried the above flavors – haven’t seen them in South Dakota yet……..
seaweed sounds interesting!
They’re the same color as regular potato chips but they have green flecks in them – biggert flecks than what sour cream/chive chips have.
