50 Shades Movie Casting Couch

June 15, 2012

Pinned Image

Have you read the 50 Shades trilogy? If you have not heard of it you have clear been living under a rock for the last few months. I won’t judge that harshly. So if you read it… did you like it? hate it? could not have cared less about it? could not put it down?

I fell along the lights of being indifferent to it but not being able to put the books down. For real- glued to my hands. The writing is garbage. I feel like it would be a great drinking game. For every time a ‘twitchy palm’, ‘fithy shades’ ‘Mr Grey’, ‘Mrs. Grey’ is said take a god damn drink! You would not be able to get a chapter without alcohol poisoning!!

Now that the movie rights have been secured there is a lot of talk about who will be cast in this porn movie. Who will play Christian? Who will play Anastasia? I’ve read that Alexander Skarsgård says he was ‘born to play Christian’. Whatevers. He is 36 and looks 36 to me. Christian is 27. Nice try, stick to True Blood. If Kristen I-can’t-close-my-mouth Stewart is cast as Ana I will burn down Hollywood.

So without further adieu, my casting couch picks for Fifty Shades…

-Christian Grey-

Trevor Donovan

-Anastasia Steele-

Deborah Ann Woll

-Kate Kavanuagh-

Amanda Fuller

– Ethan Grey-

Matt Czuchry

Matt Czuchry

-Jose Rodriguez-

Carlos Pena Jr

-Jack Hyde-

-Dr. Grace Trevelyan-Grey-

Kristine Sutherland

I hope that who ever plays these roles does a good job and has a fun time with adapting the books into a porn movie.

You have not read them then I suggest you pick them up…

Fifty Shades of Grey: Book One of the Fifty Shades Trilogy
Fifty Shades Darker: Book Two of the fifty Shades Trilogy
Fifty Shades Freed: Book Three of the Fifty Shades Trilogy

or you can just by the 3 volume set…

Fifty Shades Trilogy: Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, Fifty Shades Freed 3-volume Boxed Set

Who do you think should play these roles?

Weekend Recap

September 13, 2010

I would have to say this weekend was a sucess. I had a great time with pricer before he left for another week. Plus I got do a bunch of fun things.

Starting with Friday night… We originally talked about going to see The American but the movie times didn’t work for is since we planned on making calzones for dinner. (I got up early on Friday morning to make the dough. It was the first time ever and I’ll be doing it again and again now. I could see the difference from the store bought kinds.) So we stayed in to have calzones and watch Date Night. I cracked up throughout the whole movie.

Then we took a walk into Coolidge Corner for frozen yogurt. I got my usual, mango/plain swirl with blackberries, kiwi, starwberries, but this time I got some mango too. Price got banana/chocolate swirl with some chocolate toppings.

On Saturday morning I went to Brimfield with Emily. This was our second time so we knew what to look out for, and yet this were things that still shocked us. I went to get a brouch for Halloween, Pyrex, and blue ball jars. It was a successful trip there!

I took a nap before Price and I met a new BAC masters student for dinner to give him some pointers on surviving that school, like who are the important people to know, time management, and who are the people you’ll see by the BAC, like Louie.

Price and I watched NASCAR when we got home.

Sunday was much more relaxed with ‘sleeping in’ until 9:30, reading the paper and watching the news and food network. We then headed out to try a sandwich place before seeing the noon showing of The American. Both the sandwich place and the movie were great.

Then a trip to Home Depot and Target, a nap, and Price was gone again. 🙁

Date night

January 31, 2010

Dear James Cameron-

Congrats on creating the highest grossing piece of crap. Price and I went to see your movie last night. We both knew nothing about your movie- no joke. Neither of us looked into what it was about at all prior to going. So we happily forked over the $25.00 (plus service fee) to see your movie in 3D at an IMAX theater.

I guess you should be glad that we knew nothing about the movie because if we had we would have saved our money and stayed in and played some wii. About 15 minutes into the movie I realize that it really is going to be SOOOOOOO predictable. Good guy, bad guy, save the earth message. We care about the earth- we recycle, use reusable bags, compost, etc- I get it. It’s an important thing that everyone can relate to. Anyway, my problem was the predictability plus I kept thinking that I had seen the movie before, just with a few changes.

This nagging feeling continued on until I remembered FERNGULLY: THE LAST RAINFOREST. That cartoon that came out in 1992 with tone loc and tim curry- as the creepy sexy slim thing. You have kids- granted they were born after this movie came out but you are in the MOVIE BUSINESS. I would think you see a few of them for work related research. And If not, why did no one have the balls to tell you that Avatar is a future version of Ferngully?? Also, both movies were released by 20th Century Fox, did no one there consider the similarities???

Hoping that you are satisfied with having the top 2 grossing movies of all time and you retire now. With your new found free time you should sit down and google “Avatar Ferngully” or ” James Cameron Ferngully” and you can find things to the liking of this.

Signed-

Nicole and Price

Most exciting part of the night was getting jellybeans (juicy pear is my all time favorite) and then going home to write this. Oh yeah and watching a clip of Tone Loc rapping in Ferngully.

HARRY POTTER!!!!!!

July 15, 2009

I had never been to a midnight movie, until now.

Emily, Price and I went to see the 12.01am show at Lowe’s. Emily and I counted down all day until 12am. Price was scared. As excited as we were we did not get that into it. I just can’t rationalize dressing up to see a movie. It was quite entertaining to watch all the wizards crowd into the theatre. If I was a comedian I would have gotten so much great material just from the night’s experiences.

We met at Parish Cafe for some food  (no beers- Emily and I have bad luck when it comes to falling asleep and throwing up at shows so we did not want to risk it) . Ran over to  CVS for candy. HOLY CRAP! they had strawberry peanut butter M&M’s. Then walked over to Loews. It was crazy town there. Some guy from Lowe’s was on a bullhorn directing people. And then we finally got to see the movie. The movie was fantastic!! But I would like to thank the theater for stating a movie over 20 minutes late. And the annoying guy behind us who banged into our seats every time he left  to use the bathroom.

All in all, great night! great movie! great candy! I loved the fact that it was my first midnight movie, that Price was a good sport about they whole night even though I dumped a packet of pop rocks into my mouth, got an inch away from his ear and opened my mouth while we were waiting for the movie to start and kept nudging him when he was starting to fall asleep, and that I managed to get through my day on 3 hours of sleep.
