Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix – July 2016

September 22, 2016

stitch-fix-review-july-2016

I was so excited to get this latest Stitch Fix!

My recent boxes have been great so I was looking forward to getting more awesome items to add to my closet.

I received this box in July and have been rotating my goodies in my wardrobe since.

stitch-fix-july-2016_01

Conor Eylet Detail Top from Skies are Blue  for $64.00 (Size S)

I have been telling my stylist that I don’t really want long sleeve shirts since I live on the surface of the sun. So for a brief second I was bummed I got one, BUT I chilled out quickly since it’s cotton and breathable. Plus it’s white. Totally doable in Florida.

stitch-fix-july-2016_02 stitch-fix-july-2016_03

I decided to keep this rather quickly since I liked the fit,

I’ve worn there to work once and several times on the weekend with jeans, as pictured above. It’s a nice neutral top so I typically accessorize it with bright sunglasses for a fun contrast.

stitch-fix-july-2016_04

Mula Knit Tank from Paper Moon $38.00 (Sized S)

Stripes! I totally dig the stripes on this top since they vary in color and size.

stitch-fix-july-2016_05

I’ve worn this more often on the weekends since I think it’s more casual than dressy but I’ve worn it to work with a black skirt, to go with the black striping.

stitch-fix-july-2016_06

Levi Ponte Dress from Brixon Ivy  $68.00 (Sized S)

I could go on and on and on about how much I love this dress!!

The shape, the material, the stripes, the color… it’s all fantastic.

And then there is a price, which is great for a dress like this.

And then there are the pockets. Pockets are life with a toddler who hands me stickers, chapstick, toy cars, 24/7.

I want to order a back up dress since I have a feeling I’ll probably spill something on it and then have a freak out.

Plus, I don’t have to wear a bra with this dress. A total win!

stitch-fix-july-2016_07

Alanzo Split Neck Cotton Tank from Skies are Blue $48.00 (Size S)

This top is similar to the button down tank I received in the Fix that arrived in April, which I thought was a bummer. But then I put it on and realized that I liked it so much more than that top in April. (Can I send that one back?! jk!)

I really like the detail in the neck line. It’ s simple but adds to the top to elevate it from just a plaid top to one that can be  dressed up for work as it’s more tailored.

I like the fit and style of this top a lot. Plus, it’s cotton!!

stitch-fix-july-2016_08 stitch-fix-july-2016_09

Vilia Lace Detail Knit Top from Papermoon $48.00 (Size S)

I don’t love this top that much. It’s a seems like I could get it from Forever 21, but it’s nice. I’ve already worn it several times. I guess, I don’t like the price of it more than anything since it looks like a top from Forever 21.

But the fit is great (loose), I like the detail (lace), and the color (pink!) so it works.

Stitch Fix Review- May 2016

I’m happy to report I had another great Stitch Fix shipment.

So I held off on posting it since I typically post about it right after getting it but I don’t get to then chime in about how much I have been using the things or what is working and isn’t. Just decided to change it up this month.

Unfortunately, I didn’t keep the receipt and I don’t have the descriptions and prices of the items from the shipment. And Stitch Fix is lame and doesn’t keep a record of it on line for you. I might just have to call them and big them about this!

But let’s dive in, shall we?!?

May 2016 Stitch Fix- 04 May 2016 Stitch Fix- 05

Waters Printed Maxi Dress from Papermoon $68 (Size S)

I typically struggle with getting maxi dresses to fit since most of them are made of Amazons, (I’m looking at you Old Navy!) but this was perfect for my height. That was a big selling point to me. Plus, it was just great looking! It was flattering and fun with the colors and pattern on it. This felt like a great option for the summer to wear to work on a Friday with some fun accessories to dress it up or just out and about on the weekends.

I’ve work this several times at work and on the weekends. It’s so comfy. I am going to be careful washing it as I think it will be an item that pills over time.

May 2016 Stitch Fix- 03

This dress, oh this dress!!!

I loved this dress the moment I took it out of the box.

I love the pattern and the fit. I like the length. I like the material. I like it all!

I have worn this repeatedly.

Firmoo Glasses Review_May 2016

Since I decided on the dresses mentioned, one of which is significantly more money than I would normally spend on a dress, or on a Fix, for that matter, I decided that I would have to be more selective on the other items I decided to keep.

Of the remaining 3 items, I decided on keeping this shirt.

I loved the fit, the pattern, the styling options. A clear winner

I wore it to Everything Food Conference in SLC (hence why this picture is different than the rest) and when I got home washed it and something in the wash attacked it. It has tiny red splotched all over it. WTF. I have put it through the laundry several times since hoping to get it out but no luck… yet.

I swear I am just cursed with my Stitch Fix stuff. UGH!!!!! I am seriously so annoyed about this. I can deal with shrinking my March Fix since that was my fault, but NOTHING was in the wash that could have caused this.

May 2016 Stitch Fix- )1 May 2016 Stitch Fix- 02

I liked the lace pattern on the top but I felt it was too casual. I typically save my Stitch Fix clothing for work stuff, or it has to be pretty awesome otherwise, since I

May 2016 Stitch Fix- 06

While I liked this shirt I didn’t think it was too flattering. Plus, I felt the quality of the material didn’t justify the expense.

Stitch Fix- April 2016

May 6, 2016

  Stitch Fix Review- April 2016

Well, wouldn’t you know it’s time for another Stitch Fix review!

I liked my March Stitch Fix so much that I decided to schedule another Stitch Fix for April so here is my review of that box from April.

April Stitch Fix_01 April Stitch Fix_02

Ahleya Eyelet Dress from London Times $88 (Size 4)

Love it! Kept it!

I love the color, fabric, design, and silhouette. Such a winner. I knew once I opened up the box that I’d keep it. Perfect

Also, Autumn felt like joining in these photos. Aren’t her Old Navy PJ’s just the cutest?! They are actually boys PJ’s but they are a winner in our house since they have “Twinkle Little Stars” on them. ha!

April Stitch Fix_03 April Stitch Fix_04

Trinka Blazer from Skies Are Blue $74 (Size S)

I really liked then when I took it out of the box but it was way too tight. Not just snug but could not button at all and it was way too small in the bust too. Not only that it was too long in the sleeves. Just not right for me. Oh well.

April Stitch Fix_05

Evella Boatneck Top from Market and Spruce $64 (Size S)

I liked this top but I didn’t see the value in the cost and getting another long sleeve top while living down here in FL. It’s already in the 80’s so this would not be touched for months until things cool down again. Cute, but bad timing.

As well, I don’t like tops that are layered already. Just a weird personal preference. It seems weird to me. Whatever.

April Stitch Fix_06 April Stitch Fix_07

Athenia Button Down Top by Aratta $54 (Size S)

My biggest pet peeve with Stitch Fix is that they don’t often include things that are made of cotton so when I took this out and saw it was 100% cotton I did a little jig. It is soft but sturdy. And I liked the plaid pattern on the top. It is great for summer so I kept it.

April Stitch Fix_08

Jafar Peplum Back Cardigan from Sweet Grey $68 (Size S)

I wasn’t too sure when I took this out of the box because of the material but I liked it once it was on because of the peplum detail in the back.

In the picture above, I paired it with a skirt from Hately (Size 4) and a white tank.

I  decided to keep 3 items from this Fix. Not too bad.

I have had these items for a few weeks now and I have worn everything, some even 2x, so I think that getting these items was  smart decision since I can see wearing them often in the future as well.

My next Fix will arrive in about a week. I requested that I don’t get items with long sleeves or are heavy since it’s already in the 80’s here and I can’t imagine wearing stuff with long sleeves when it’s even going to get warmer. Plus, I emphasized getting more stuff made with cotton. I am hoping for another great shipment from my stylist.

Stitch Fix – March 2016

April 21, 2016

Stitch Fix Review- March 2016

I stopped getting Stitch Fix after I was pregnant for a period of time since I was more focused on buying diapers than new clothes. Plus, I was loosing a bunch of weight (thank you breastfeeding!) so I didn’t feel like investing in in-between sizes as I was quickly transitioning into and out of sizes. For example, in the first 18 months after having my daughter I dropped 60+ pounds. So yeah…

That being said, I did start Stitch Fix up again recently but I’m just now getting around to sharing my experiences again.

Here are my goodies from my 16th Stitch Fix that I received in March!

March Stitch Fix_01

Millie Textured Dress from Pixley $78

L-O-V-E!

I love the style, fit, color, and pattern for this dress.

It was love at first sight when I opened up the box since I liked that the pattern was reminiscent of a honeycomb which is such a fun pattern. I’ve now worn it a few times and I love it more every time.

March Stitch Fix_03 March Stitch Fix_05

Dauna Trapeze Party Back Knit Top from Pixley $54 (size S)

I don’t normally like these swoopy back shirts since they just seem trendy but I thought this was fun. I really liked the stripes and the color in the back as well. I thought the price was high for the quality of the material, which is a general trend that I feel with buying from Stitch Fix.

March Stitch Fix_08

Broderick Cut-Out Detail Top from Fun2Fun $48 (Size S)

The color is so fun. It reminds me of spring and the tropics and it just felt perfect for my new life in Florida!

I like the weight of it as it’s still airy and such a great color. I even got a compliment from a total stranger on the street when I wore this. Awesome!

It does wrinkle a lot throughout the day, as evident in the photos, but I still like it.

March Stitch Fix_06 March Stitch Fix_07

Magnolia Split Back Blouse from RD Style $68 (Size S)

I was not really in love with the split in the back but I liked the other aspects of the shirt from the length of the sleeve to the material and the pattern to the color.

I like tops like this but I wish that Stitch Fix would include more cotton based items instead of this fakey stuff.

PS. It should be noted that I Honey I Shunk the S H I T out of this top. Such a bummer since I did liked it more the first time I wore it than when I tried it on. And then I went and shrunk it. A LOT. So here I am wearing it and not breathing… I’m an idiot.

March Stitch Fix_02

Ortega Open Knit Perforated Cardigan from Skies are Blue $48 (Size S)

Cardigans like this are so versatile since they can go with jeans or with black dress pants or dresses. I like the color, texture, and the weight of the cardigan. This is great with the Textured Dress that I have already worn several times already. I think I can play around with it more than just wearing it like above, but maybe I can layer a belt over it. We’ll see what I do with it over time, but I expect heavy rotation in my wardrobe.

____________________

I decided to keep all of the items in this Fix.

I have never kept all the items before so I guess I really liked the shipment. At the moment I think it was a good decision, but looking back, I think I jumped at the chance for some new clothes without having to go shopping since I have been so busy lately. I am so glad I kept the dress, turquoise blouse, and cardigan, but I wish I would have returned the striped shirt and polka dot one. I actually wear the striped one a lot since it’s comfy but I just regret spending so much on it for the overall quality.

Overall, I think it was a good fix, I like the stylist that I have been getting, so I will stick with her, but in the future I will be a bit more picky in what I keep.

Stitch Fix- July

August 6, 2013

I didn’t post my June Stitch Fix shipment because I didn’t get good pictures since I was so busy that they became on the back burner part of the to-do list that weekend. So once I looked at them I decided that I’d have to skip posting my June Stitch Fix. But it doesn’t mean I didn’t love it, I kept 2 things and wear them both a lot.

So, on to current events… my July Stitch Fix!!! Which I’m posting in August… I’m on top of things, clearly.

Let’s begin!

CATTIE BELTED DOT PRINT MINIDRESS $68.00

CATTIE BELTED DOT PRINT MINIDRESS

I really loved this dress right when I took it out of the box. The color was a big win for me. Can’t resist navy dresses! Plus it had a subtle white polka dot sewn in to add some extra fun texture. And can’t forget the little red belt that went with it. Just adorable.

Unfortunately, there was 1 major thing that prevented me from keeping this dress… the sleeves. I just didn’t like embellishment at the top of the sleeves. I don’t like sleeves with pleats (?) at the top, nor ruffles on the edge. I’m just picky about sleeves.

Anyway, if this didn’t have that, or cap sleeves at all, I would have kept this dress for post baby bump wearing because I liked the color, material, cut, and weight of the material.

STEVEN FLORAL PRINT HI-LO DRESS $78.00

STEVEN FLORAL PRINT HI-LO DRESS

Win!! Total win so I kept this.  I wouldn’t have normally spent that much on a dress like this but I just loved the pattern (which I realize doesn’t show up well in this photo- doh!), fabric, and cut. It fit well when I tried it on and I figure it will fit for a bit longer (hopefully) as well.

IVY ABSTRACT SQUARE PRINT SHEER BLOUSE $68.00

IVY ABSTRACT SQUARE PRINT SHEER BLOUSE

Oh boobs, you just ruin so many outfits for me. I so wanted this to work but it was way too tight at my boobs. Like could barely get the shirt on tight. And yet everything else about the shirt fit perfectly. Loved how flowy the arms were and everything else about the top from the fabric, color, and pattern. So disappointing. :-/

FLOWER STONES BIB NECKLACE $28.00

FLOWER STONES BIB NECKLACE

Loved this! Kept this necklace. Love the color, size, pattern, and it’s overall weight. Just hate when necklaces are too heavy and are uncomfortable. I’ve worn it several times since it arrived.

ESSIE EYELET DETAILED BUTTON SLEEVE TOP $48.00

ESSIE EYELET DETAILED BUTTON SLEEVE TOP

And everything was perfect about this top accept the arms. So tight it looked like I was a robot since I couldn’t flex my arms comfortably. Again, really disappointing since it was a great length, fabric/texture, and I just loved the pattern.

ESSIE EYELET DETAILED BUTTON SLEEVE TOP_01

Oh I so wish this had worked out since this was such a lovely pattern.

____________________

So what does all that mean?

I decided to keep the necklace and floral dress.

The grand total: $28 + $78 – $20 (prepaid styling fee)= $86 invoice. :-)

I scheduled another shipment for mid August since I love to get these Stitch Fix shipments. I’ll be 6 months along so we’ll see what I get since I keep reminding them that, as well as we’ll see what fits! ha. Maybe they’ll just send me accessories- necklaces & earrings- which I wouldn’t mind anyway!

Stitch Fix- May

May 19, 2013

YAY!! Another Stitch Fix shipment!

I ripped open the box at work and went through all the goodies with my coworker. She had a kick out of me trying to figure out how one of the shirts goes on. It was a duh moment. But we went through it all there so I couldn’t want to try everything on when I was at home.

This time I had Price’s assistance in taking photos and live feedback. So here goes…

Majorie Baer- Singular Spear Earrings- $38

Sitich Fix- Majorie Baer- Singular Spear Earrings

Love these. I love hammered jewelry. It reminds me of a punch of pieces I saw back in Greece when I was there a few years back and makes regret not just splurging for them. So it was pretty obvious that once I saw them I decide to keep them.

Ella Moss- Ken Sleeveless Striped Top- $68

Stitch Fix-Ella Moss- Ken Sleeveless Striped Top

nope. nope. nope.

Which is why it is not photographed on me. I didn’t like the fit, the material, or the basic structure of the top. I liked the colors and the angle of the stripes though.

Plus, it was way too expensive for what it was. It reminded me of a shirt I would find in Forever 21 for $16 or so. So when I found it’s twin online I almost peed my pants laughing since that was listed for $118. So good job Stitch Fix for selling it for $68 but even then- no.

Honey Punch- Catie Printed Dress- $48

Stitch Fix- Honey Punch- Catie Printed Dress

I liked this dress. Price did not. Well, he wasn’t sold on the pattern since I don’t typically wear things like this but I liked the length (with leggings), the fit, and the neckline. I like cross front/wrap dresses so for a while I was thinking I’d keep it. I’d prob add a belt to it and love it more.

Matty M- Baxter Keyhole Peasant Blouse- $88

Stitch Fix- Matty M- Baxter Keyhole Peasant Blouse

I liked this. Price liked this too. I was saying I would keep it until I pulled up the invoice again and saw it was $88. I think that if fall, winter were approaching I would have kept it since I liked the color, fit, material, texture but I think I wouldn’t put it to good use this spring, summer.

(Ignore the hanger straps showing- whoops)

Black Sheep- Miley Floral Pleated Tie-Waist Dress – $58

Stitch Fix-Black Sheep- Mily Floral Pleasted Tie-Waist Dress

I wan’t sold on the pattern of this dress when I took it out of the box. But I’m learning not to judge a book by it’s cover. At least in this case.

I liked the length and how flowy it was so it grew on me. I liked that it came with a layering cami since it is a bit low cut (dang these boobs!) so that was a plus. I’m still not sold on the pattern but I figure once I’m tan (oh summer, I miss you) I’ll like it more.

____________________

So what does all that mean?

I decided to keep the earrings and floral dress.

The grand total: $38 + $58 – $20 (prepaid styling fee)= $76. 🙂

I scheduled my next fix for June 13th. Can’t wait for it!

Stitch Fix- April (2)

May 1, 2013

Since I just kept 1 item (an awesome necklace that I wear all the time now!) from my last Stitch Fix box I decided to do another Stitch Fix order for the month of April so I moved up my date and my package arrived on Monday.

This package was a hit and I like/loved everything in this box but fit and price dictated what i kept. I decided to keep 2 of the 5 items.

Here are my reviews for each item:

BCBGeneration- Monarch Flutter Sleeve Dress- $98.00

Stitch Fix_April 2_BCBGeneration Dress

Oh this dress! I picked it up and fell in love with it- loved the color, material, price, length, neckline. I was eager to try it on to see how it would fit.

Thankfully, it fit really well so I decided to keep it. I liked the V-neck shape and how it had a button to keep the pieces together. In about 2 weeks I have a little end of project cocktail reception for the project I’ve been working on for the past 2 years and I plan on wearing this dress.

41 Hawthorn- Orinda Stretch Banded Leggings- $48.00

 Stitch Fix_April 2_Leggings

Nice fit but a little too long. Such is the problem for someone who is 5′- 2″ish. Plus, I just bought 2 pairs of legging so I decided not to keep them.

I didn’t photograph myself in them since they are just leggings. I just did us all a favor.

Mystree- Kameron Pleated Detail Tank Top- $68.00

Stitch Fix_April 2_Sheer Blouse 1

I got my Stitch Fix on Monday and wore this top on Tuesday. WITH the necklace that I got in my last shipment!!

Stitch Fix_April 2_Sheer Blouse 2

So obviously I loved it. I didn’t think I would when I first took it out of the box since it’s 1) a blouse 2) sheer 3) white. However the fact that it was flowy made up for the fact that it was a button down blouse. It was sheer but they included a tank with it and it worked well since it had thin straps- which my tanks don’t normally have. It was white but I took the risk anyway and was super careful anytime I ate or drank anything.

THML Sloan Colorblock Tank Dress- $58.00

Stitch Fix_April 2_Color Block Dress

When I opened the box and saw this dress I was soooo excited. I loved the colors, material, detail at the neckline. The price was great too at $68. I just love dresses that look like this.

Unfortunately, it is a shift dress and they just don’t fit me as well as an A-line dress. So no-go. Which is why I didn’t photograph me wearing it. eh

Kensie- Orson Striped Slub Knit Sweater- $58.00

Stitch Fix_April 2_Sweater

I liked this sweater but I didn’t at the same time. Like the colors, texture, short sleeves, but I didn’t feel the stripes were doing my any favors.

____________________

My total was $146. Had I kept the sweater (+$58) it would have been $204 and I just could not justify that for 3 things. However, had the Color Block Dress (also $58) fit I would have kept everything since the total for all 5 would have been $232.50 since that would have included the 25% off discount you get when you purchase all 5 items.

I scheduled my next fix for mid May. I told my stylist the following…

More accessories please. I love the necklace I got in my 2nd fix.
Like the dresses that have been coming, but no shirt or shift dresses please. Like wrap and A-line.
I like maxi skirts. NOT maxi dresses

Stitch Fix- April (1)

April 13, 2013

So another month, another Stitch Fix order!!!

This month my package arrived on Monday, but arrived to my desk on Tuesday after it was sorted in our office building to get to our offices. Anyway, happy clap when I got into work and saw it waiting for me. 🙂

I immediately went through this month’s package to take a peak at everything. Some of my first impressions were correct and others were off. Either way, fun to get a surprise every month and discover something new for yourself.

Here are my reviews for each item:

Stitch Fix_April_1- Skinny Jeans

Coral color skinny jeans- $88

Loved the color, but I didn’t like that they were skinny jeans and their price. I’m too damn short and curvy for skinny jeans that are that skinny. Plus I can get a pair of Loft Curvy Skinny’s for much less.

Stitch Fix_April_1- Necklace

Long gold necklace- $33

I kept this because I liked the length, texture, and design. I liked that it was fairly simple and affordable for a necklace. I’ve already worn it 4 times. win

Stitch Fix_April_1- Navy Blouse

Navy tie front blouse- $65

Oh, a blouse. Oh, a blouse that doesn’t fit. Big surprise. Stupid boobs.  The top fit in my waist and arms but not where the melons reside. I loved the material and the color. Shame it was a blouse.

Stitch Fix_April_1- Sheer Top

Sheer Contrast Collar Top- $65

So I put this on and fell in love with it. Loved the fit and style and really liked the collar detail. I wanted to keep this so badly. But when I wore it down and Price stared at me. I couldn’t pull off a SHEER top to work. I even tried by putting a tank under it but it looked awful that way too. Had this top been white but not sheer I would have considered keeping it a lot more, although white makes this spill proned klutz very nervous. I was thinking about it and if this was the navy like the blouse (above) I would have kept it without a second though. Too bad.

Stitch Fix_April_1- Sweater

Striped Sweater- $75

Loved the texture, weight, and cut of the sweater. Not sold on stripes, esp in those colors but I did like it. And then, I put it on and showed Pricer and I got a “hmm, not my favorite.” Well I’m not gonna spend $75 on something that neither of us are 100% on.

______________________

I sent back the 4 items I wasn’t keeping and I gave feedback for each item, similar to what I did above, as well as some overall statements. I requested…

  • not to get any more button down blouses as they don’t fit me in the bust but fit me in the waist and arms. I would rather not have to go up a size and deal with other areas that don’t fit well just to make a blouse work.
  • more dresses. loved the dress from my first fix and I love to wear dresses in spring summer so i’m hoping to see them more in my stitch fixes.
  • more accessories. i’m hoping to get some fun rings, necklaces, and earrings.
  • flowy things. I loved how flowy the contrast collar top was so I’d love more things similar to that.
  • open front sweaters. not cardis with buttons (similar situation to blouses), but open sweaters like this and this

I would have had pictures of everything on me this time but I just didn’t have time like before to try everything on at once and take pictures. I barely even had time to take this pictures- such a crazy week. I promise to have the try on pictures next time.  Since I only kept the necklace I requested to get my next box earlier so I will get another Stitch Fix package in April.

So if this sounds like a fun way to try on some clothes then sign up, fill out some surveys, and then you are on your way to scheduling your first Stitch Fix box right to your door. My referral code is 3059041. Pretty, pretty please use it if you sign up. Thanks :-)

Have fun!

Stitch Fix- March

March 23, 2013

stitch fix_march_box

Have you heard of Stitch Fix?

It’s a personalized styling service. You tell the stylists about what you like to wear and all your sizing info and they send you 5 items in every shipment. You get to try on the items in the box at your own pace and get to pair them with elements already in your wardrobe. Keep what you like and just send the rest back in prepaid envelopes. Super simple.

I learned about Stitch Fix from a post from the incredible talented scrapbooker (and mom to 4 adorable girls) Stephanie Howell. It looked like so much fun so I signed up. I had a bit of a wait time as it’s invite only at this point, similar to when Pinterest first started. Just be patient and you’ll get through quick enough.

My first Stitch Fix arrived last Friday so I had all last weekend to try on the stuff. It was a fun process because I got to do it when I was ready and look through my wardrobe to figure out what I could pair things with.

So here we go… don’t mind the super embarrassing pictures…

Item 1… Luii- Macey 3/4 Cleeve Jersey Blazer $78

I loved this item right when I saw it. I don’t have any blazers so I was really excited to open up the package and see this right on top. It fit well and I knew that I could wear it with several different outfits because of the style and the color. It could be great for work or great for a casual night out. So I decided to keep it. Totally love it.

Item 2… Colourworks- Rose Jersey Crossfront Top $58

It’s a shame that the photo doesn’t really show the detail of this top. It has a V-neck that doesn’t go too low but from there the front drapes down with extra fabric. It’s flattering and I like that it doesn’t actually scoop down very low. I decided to keep this and I’ve already worn it twice. I even paired it with the blazer one day.

Item 3… 41 Hawthorn- Calafia Jersey Wrap Dress $58

Well… OBVIOUSLY I will have to wear a tank under this. I basically knew that prior to putting it on but I tried it this way just for shits and giggles. These DD ladies don’t work well with a lot of things because they just get in the way. Seriously. So with all wrap dresses I wear a tank underneath so I don’t show my bra and boobs off. Kinda important. Aside from that I loved this dress. I loved the color and the fit so I decided to keep it.

Item 4… 41Hawthorn- Layra 3/4 Sleeve Jersey Tunic Dress $58

I could tell even before I put it on that it would not work out. I didn’t like the pattern nor the material. I put it on anyway and ugh. Way too small in the boob area. The ladies just stretched out the front and that was not gonna work. Plus I didn’t like the length so it was getting sent back.

Item 5… Angie- Filbert Elbow Sleep Popover Top $58

I had doubts when I saw this in the box because of the buttons. I generally have issues with button-downs so I figured this would be really iffy. Plus I didn’t love the color since I spill a lot. There is also a detail at the elbow that I didn’t like that much because it make it puffy there. All of my doubts were confirmed when I put it on… pass.

So I decided to get the first 3 items listed above. I logged into the Stitch Fix site to give my feedback on every time and then I sent back the 2 other items in the postage paid priority envelope. Simple and done! I have already worn everything and I love them. No regrets.

I can’t wait for the next box to arrive mid April. I gave pretty thorough feedback on every item and overall comments to help them figure out what to put into my next Stitch Fix box. I discussed colors, patterns, material, and pricing. I commented on how I really would like to avoid getting so much jersey knit things in 1 box as 4 out of 5 items were jersey. Also, emphasized the boob situation and how I really hope not to get any button downs. But overall I was really happy with the first Stitch Fix box I got.

So if this sounds like a fun way to try on some clothes then sign up, fill out some surveys, and then you are on your way to scheduling your first Stitch Fix box right to your door. My referral code is 3059041. Pretty, pretty please use it if you sign up. Thanks 🙂
